Juras Duo

Matas Jūras & Paulina Jūrė

We are married for 8 years

Blessed to create our lives and experiences together!

We have won a major international competition.

This image was named as

“Best Baltic Wedding Photograph 2012”

We are coffee addicts! Every morning we enjoy it together. This delicious ritual is very important to us! (this cosy morning was in Thailand)

We love our dog – Maya. She brings a lot of joy and warmth into our home.

We live in Vilnius, Lithuania. Gorgeous medieval old town and beautiful nature is what we love here.

Good music is a perfect way to relax. Matas plays guitar. He used to have a rock band in high school!

We have photographed more than 130 weddings worldwide

From small and cozy weddings to some charming extraodinary celebrations

Travelling is the biggest passion of ours! The first major trip we made was to Madagascar in our 20’s.

In 2007 we quit our day jobs and had a 3 month trip around South-East Asia for our honeymoon. And then our life started to change!

We believe that learning from the best is the key to becoming the best.

We’ve been to workshops of some top wedding photographers in the world, such as Joe Buissink, David Beckstead, Marcus Bell, Ben and Erin Chrismann, Jerry Ghionis and many more. Meeting all those guys in person was a super awesome experience! It’s like if you meet George Clooney and get to talk to him all day.

We are proud members of the boldest wedding photographers society – Fearless photographers. We are honoured to receive numerous Fearless awards. Check out Fearless website for inspiring photography.

We believe that if you really want to have some rest, you have to change what you are doing. That’s why we never take cameras to our holidays. As much as we love photographing, we sometimes need to press that restart button. So iPhones are just enough!

We strongly believe that we are colleagues with other photographers rather than competitors. So we enjoy collaborating and making some awesome projects together. In 2014 we opened a first wedding photography exhibition in Lithuania, together with “Nakutis Photography”. We were super excited – more than 200 people came to it’s opening!

Take a look at the video from the exhibition opening.

We love teaching and sharing our experiences. We do photography workshops, personal mentoring and lectures in various academies:

“Would like to thank you again for being with us on our very special day – booking you was the best decision ever! Would do that again without hesitation, you have exceeded our expectations 🙂 All the guests have loved you and commented how professional you were, how friendly and caring.”     – Dovilė & Jules

An interview with us about photography

(Lithuanian only):

Drone photography is amazing. That’s how we spent our coffee break during workshop “Viva Italia!”

In the beginning of 2016 we’ve been living in Bali for 1,5 months. Loved our time there – truly amazing place!

Fell in love with Bali and it’s views! Driving a motorbike is the best way to explore while travelling.
